We make every effort to describe the condition of items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Besides a light dusting, we do not clean items prior to shipping. We leave it to the buyer to decide which cleaning methods are appropriate for the vintage items and our customers generally prefer that we do not alter a patina. With regards to our dinnerware, tea cups, teapots and other china, there will almost always be slight imperfections in the paint, gold embellishments and and transferred patterns. This is the nature of items that retailer are manufactured or decorated by hand. Transferware can also have imperfections during the pattern transfer. Porcelain, bone china, ceramics and other types of materials will almost always have minor impurities. WE DO NOT list all of these minor, normal imperfections. Note that our items are sourced from a variety of places such as old barns, cellars, attics, estate sales, vintage/thrift stores, yard sales and can, at times, carry odors from their previous lives. Any dimensions given may be approximate.
