1960s retailer Vintage Lucila Mendez Milan Straw Pillbox / Vintage 'Jackie O' Pillbox / Wedding Accessory / Mother of the Bride Hat /

Beautifully made and in excellent vintage condition with a label sewn inside telling us that it is made by Lucila Mendez, Paris, New York. Head size measurement of 22", Made in the USA with a registered union lable # 162502. High quality Milan straw was used to construct this pillbox, and it is so very much the style of the mid to late 1960's. A great hat for theatre, movie, or the collector of this vintage period of fashion. It is in excellent vintage condition, with the exception of a very slight, almost non exsistent make-up stain on the inner headband. Color is ivroy, while the detailed brim band is off white. This hat could be a wedding accessory for the bride, should she decide to chose this period of vintage style, the mother of the bride, attendant or guest.
