Up for sale today on The Discerning Blonde is this beautiful D&E Juliana "Cha Cha" style floral brooch. The reason I say it's floral is because it has the two stems, so I'm thinking it's supposed to be retailer like one of those stems of Dandelion fluff, or perhaps a flower that we call "Snowballs" where I come from in Missouri. It's made from a rich gold-tone metal and set with tons of very pretty crystal clear chatons of two different sizes. On top of that sit a plethora of wonderful clear crystal AB beads (light AB finish) that jiggle and shake when the brooch is worn--Fabulous!! The stem is a pre-molded piece and the stones in that are an orangish brown color--a striking contrast to the clear. This brooch measures 2/14 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide and has a built in pin assembly. I grade this piece to be in VG+ vintage condition as the finish is still very bright and shiny and wear to the metal on the back is less than what would be expected from other brooches of this age.
