Each Porcelain Mini Earring is hand made from Dust. Chuck mixes the clay, cuts the earring out of a slab of Porcelain. retailer He cleans the earring to round the edges and then fires all of them in a Kiln to about 2300 degrees. He then mixes the Glazes and fires each piece again to about 1600 degrees. Now chuck gives me the piece and I hand paint each piece and I fire each mini in a Kiln to about 1400 degrees, Then I add the backing of Hypoallergenic Surgical Steel and it is now a beautiful earring. It takes about two weeks to make a pair of earrings, but we do a lot at one time.
