The 9 X 11 HICKORY Wooden Notebook is the larger notebook and the 6 x 9 HICKORY Wooden Notebook is the smaller notebook. You can pick and choose which one to take with you based on your needs. If you love different tones of wood, the hickory wood is for you!

The best part about this style? Use the same notebook for years and replace the paper with filler paper from any office store. Imagine storing away your paper and not a multitude of notebooks...or better yet, keeping those important pieces of paper and recycling the rest! Something consistent helps with both creativity AND organization.

Note on Wood Product:
Because each product is made with great cuts of wood, the grain pattern, color and style can vary. Also, the edges of the notebook are not perfect 90-degree angles due to the rounded edges involved in the sanding process. Wood may have natural knots, lines, or grooves.

Shop and Product Background:
I have been searching for the perfect notebook for years. One that meant something to me, was light and easy to carry and could be accessible on-the-go. I approached my father retailer who has been working with wood for years (also fighting fire and farming) and drew up some ideas. The result was a team collaboration between a retired dad and a middle school teacher daughter. All products are made by hand in Kalamazoo, MI and use great cuts of wood. Writing Mindset, a teaching blog, was born out of a love of writing, and this shop was born out of an appreciation for handmade crafts and traditions from family.
