Gorgeous hand painted, artist signed miniature set within a classic 70's brooch setting.
Brooch measures approx. 2' tall and 1-5/8" wide. Pin back in good working order.
The subject of the painting appears to be a small scraggly dogwood tree.
Painting has been done in acrylics and has exquisite detail right down to the veins in the leaves and flowers.
Signed "Siggi" by the artist, which I understand through my research is a common nickname for the name Sigfried, which is of German retailer origin. Speculation may place the artist there, but I couldn't track this particular Siggi down any further than that.
