This fabulous DEPT. 56 teapot is named JAM-BON after the French word for “ham” which is “jambon.” This incredible “ham” fellow is a piggy dressed as a waiter. A gray and black, diamond checked jacket, a white bow tie and a white chef's hat with a blue and white checked band and a brown mushroom on top make this piggy look extremely dapper. There's a matching white towel with a blue and white checked band tossed over his left shoulder which becomes the handle of the teapot. He holds a sugar bowl in his left hand and a creamer in his right hand which is actually the spout of the teapot. So very clever!!!!! He is perfectly ready to serve your tea. Our piggy teapot measures approximately 8.5” tall by 11” wide by 6” in depth and is in fine, vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. What an extraordinary teapot and a DEPT. 56 teapot, to boot! Won't you retailer adopt this brown-eyed, rosy-cheeked JAM-BON and let him serve tea to you and your friends?
