Blue diaphonized baby retailer mouse in a 1 1/2” jar

Normally mice this size retailer end up a shade of red or pink after the diaphonization process. It's extremely difficult and time consuming to get them to turn other colors. This was an experiment to see what would happen if I used 10x's the gram stain I'd normally use for this process. I'll probably not do this again because this stain is quite rare and expensive.
