The potteries logo and name is stamped on the backside along with the artist name ,Piet Hein, date 1958. and series number, 17, see close up photo. The design includes a cartoon illustration in the top third and a poem about the anxiety of birth, in the bottom third done in black transfer. The oval format includes a hole centered near the top for hanging on a wall, see close up photo. This plaque has remained in great vintage condition, free of any damages such as chips, cracks, stains, scratches, or other flaws in the surfaces or porcelain body. This simple plaque could also double as a cheese or serving palette and help decorate a table as well as a nursery wall.
