I knit this scarf in a rib knit using 90% suri alpaca and 10% merino fine wool yarn that was millspun at Dakota Fiber MIll into a lovely 2 ply fingering yarn. The hint of fine merino top in the yarn gives the yarn more memory, while the suri alpaca has the cool, silky feel against your skin. There is a seam where it is sewn together as it is knit flat.

Feel snuggly warm and cozy yet not too hot, with this wrapped around your neck or pulled up over your head for a hood. When using as a hood, there is enough length to keep neck warm as well.
