What commanding presence! This seamless crystal piece is 1/4" THICK and absolutely covered with brilliant cut, meaningful patterns. Starting at the base with a scallop pattern, moving up to a diamond pattern and topped with a wheat pattern there is lots of visual interest. The wheat pattern symbolizes wealth, prosperity, and abundance, the diamonds, of faithfulness, love, purity, innocence and relationships filled with love. The inset lid continues the wheat pattern with deep scoring around the outer edge and is crowned with a 5.5" diameter, 2" tall faceted knob handle. Measuring 9" tall with lid (6" without), 6.25" across and a retailer 19" diameter, I believe this treasure to be made in the Czech Republic. There are minimal scuff marks on the bottom (as shown in pictures) that could be buffed out, no chips or cracks. This piece deserves a special spot in the sun to catch the light and showcase the intricate designs! A perfect gift for any occasion....
