'A Coat of Many Colours' is a loose and impressionistic portrait based retailer on my own chocolate labrador cross named Leon. This is a variation in style for me, a break from my usual realism and detail, but if you like intense colour then here is some colour! Using watercolour and acrylic inks over a freehand pencil sketch I've chosen the most vivid palette possible. It appears that I've used just about every colour in the book apart from his natural brown colouring. He is a dog who never remains still for a moment, so the splashes and runs of paint and ink intentionally give the impression of movement. If you are a dog lover and you have a wall space that could do with brightening up, then this is the one for you. I have this one in a square format too, slightly cropped top and bottom. This is a high quality, LARGE box canvas print on a 30mm deep precision engineered frame with a centre tensioner/stretcher bar to ensure that your canvas does not require framing and is ready to hang. It will remain as tight as a drum and not go baggy and loose like inferior quality box canvases.
