In the early 1800s, drinks were fancied up with precise recipes and named. A "cocktail" was defined as a drink with spirit, sugar, bitters, and water, most commonly using whiskey or bourbon. That's pretty Old Fashioned! retailer
Whiskey...around since the 1400s, invented by the Scottish - or the Irish, depending on who you ask. The Whiskey Sour is one of the most popular whiskey drinks.
Includes: old fashioned mixer and whiskey sour mixer, large cube tray, mixing spoon, dried orange garnish, and cherries. Makes at least 12 bar-quality drinks.
DIRECTIONS: Follow ratio on the bottle. Combine spirit + mixer in a rocks glass, stir with your fancy spoon and add a large cube. Garnish the Old Fashioned with a dried orange, and add a cherry or two to the Whiskey Sour...and don't eat them out of the jar!
Mocktail version: replace the spirit with seltzer water. Garnish as above.
*Note: cocktail spoon design may vary based on availability.
