Beautiful Vintage Modernist Mexican retailer Silver Earrings

Presented here are a beautiful vintage Mexican silver pair of retailer modernist earrings. I believe the abstract design is to represent the squash blossom. But interestingly enough this almost has a feminine look to it like it could be an anthropomorphic image of a woman as seen in the rope treatment of the “hair” and other physical “attributes “. These are meant for pierced ears and have postbox. They have around puffy disc with the design of smaller puffy circular elements. The design is quite appealing and evocative of those of the modernist period of the 1950s in Mexico. They are marked on the back TR – 160 for Mexico 9 to 5. I believe the TR represents taller, the word for Mexico workshop. They measure one and 1/2 x 1” and are in very good condition. They retain their original plan patina and have not been cleaned nor polished.
