Kona estate grade award-winning coffee from our family farm - the oldest certified organic farm in the United States!

For coffee-lovers, Kona is some of the most flavorful, special coffee in the world. It makes up just 1% of the world's coffee. One reason people love Kona coffee so passionately is because Kona rams tend to grow extremely large, and by default of bailies this means more oils, sugars; and more of the 800 flavor compounds found in coffee. This makes for a very complex cup!

We are in South Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. A permaculture farm, we grow many varied crops interplanted with each other- an entire symbiotic ecosystem in paradise!

We have a beloved vintage Sivetz fluidized-bed manual air roaster, and we only roast 9-19 Lb's at time which means we can roast to order so our coffee is always incredibly fresh.

What makes Kona Coffee different? A lot of people ask why is Kona Coffee unique and so expensive?

1) We're the only coffee that has an active steaming volcano adding micronutrients from the mantle of the earth on a daily consistent basis in small amounts which do not damage the coffee. This above all other reasons makes the coffee hear consistently incomparable to other coffees.

2) All our coffee is handpicked, and we pay American wages, which work out to between 12-25 dollars an hour. The coffees from any other region in the world will be paying their labor 10 cents to 5 dollars an hour average.

3) Because we are also a Processor and Roastery, we can assure quality in every step. Making coffee takes many stages and most Kona coffee is farmed and then sold to larger companies.

We do every single step from the harvest and hand-picking to the washing and milking, down to the final fresh roast.
