Details:  An absolutely gorgeous wall pocket!  It has retailer a beautiful Geisha playing the shamisen, behind her you can see a window and a tree in bloom with pink flowers.  The sides have two lotus flowers in blue and red. There is lots of hand painted moriage in bright gold.  The background and border are in a deep dark teal.  Gorgeous bright colors, lots of details, this is one you don't want to miss.  It is pre-drilled for hanging, however, there is no drainage hole.  It is stamped on the bottom: " Satsuma Made in China" which of course it's in the Satsuma Style, but not the real thing, was made during the Meiji Period (1868-1912), and most of us can't begin to afford the real thing.  This is a very heavy piece. It would make a great addition to a sun-room, patio or inside the house to hold flowers or greenery (faux or real).  Great for an Oriental decor lover!
