A vintage, hand-sewn tapestry exhibiting a pink, green, red and blue floral pattern on a neutral beige background.
The tapestry frame is retailer wooden and by Aldridge "The Little Gallery" Worthing. In 1876 Frederick Aldridge, a marine painter, opened a fine art dealers "Aldridge" in Warwick Street in Worthing and later in 1905 his sons established "The Little Gallery" in the shop which was taken over in 1965 by Frost & Reed. So this dates between 1905-65 and from the style of label, is almost certainly from the 1950s.
This means the tapestry is at least 70 years old, but may possibly be older than that

This tapestry is in very good vintage condition with no significant signs of age or wear, but the backing paper is stained.
