Large Hand Carved Wooden Statue "Storm Battered Lighthouse" - Hand Carved Beach Decor - Beach House retailer Decor

This is a hand carved lighthouse made from cottonwood bark. We allowed the bark shape to determine the overall appearance of this piece. After the piece was carved retailer we used a wood burner to etch the dark lines you see. It has been covered with a brush on varnish. The piece itself is 10 inches tall by 3inches and 3 inches. This was inspired by my love for lighthouse. It would look great on any shelf or fireplace mantel.
