Antique Enameled Cast Iron Pull Out Drawer with Pour retailer Spout

Antique enameled cast iron pull out drawer with pour spout--I have no idea what this was used for! Measures 16 1/2" from pour spout to handle edge, and is 8 3/4" wide, 3" deep. The outside is a reddish brown enamel, the enamel is not on the bottom; inside is white enamel that is now retailer crazed and worn but still good. Part of something industrial perhaps. Heavy!
