Vintage Hardwood Hand retailer Carved Indian Elephant with Lightwood Toe and Eye Detail

This is a preloved and displayed item with age appropriate wear. There are two missing toe nails and one tusk. Please look at the pictures as this acts as part of the description.
This is a Teak hand carved Indian Elephant. She is from around the 1950's-1960's and has no machine marks. Tool marks are clearly visible on her underside. Her stance is relaxed with her trunk down.
The toe nails and eyes are in a lighter wood and bring a nice contrast. The piece has carved texture throughout, including her trunk and tail.
Measurements are: retailer 24cm tall, 22cm long and 12cm wide.
