Rosemale kurbits bread board red retailer vintage

This is a beautifully painted Norwegian Rosemaled bread board. Obviously painted by an expert, this lovely rosemaled bread board is in shades of blue, gold and white on a red ground. The pattern is classic Norwegian with flowers, stylized acanthus leaves, scrolls and cross hatching. The detail and depth of color and shading is remarkable. The board is in excellent condition, no chips, dings or scratches and has a leather hanging loop.
