Lancaster retailer Long Handle Olive Spoon in Sterling by Gorham 8 1/8" ca 1897 mono

Olive Spoons just as Pickle Forks are identified as either long handled or short handled to fit conveniently into the jars that olives and some pickles are packed in. This spoon is 8 1/8" long and 7/8" across the bowl and weighs 25 grams and has a gold washed bowl and is monogrammed (See photo #3). The bowl is beautifully reticulated with the Rose cutout in the center to allow the liquid to escape prior using the olive.
