Taxco Mexico Vintage Sterling Silver retailer Love Bird Brooch With 3D Vermeil Wing

This retailer unusual brooch has a pair of love birds in relatively one dimensional sterling silver with engraved details and a bright gold tone wing that flows up and out gracefully almost half an inch above the birds. The brooch is large, measuring 2.5 inches across and 1.5 inches high, and weighs 17.3 grams. The backstamp indicates it was made in Taxco Mexico in sterling silver some time after the late 1970's. The attractive brooch has a rollover safety clasp and is in excellent vintage condition.
