retailer Inspired by nature, Coalport/Wedgwood Countryware small sauceboat, with underplate, in the well known cabbage leaf pattern. It looks in superb, unused condition, with no marks that I can see. This can be used as a small sauceboat, or for its original purpose, as a mint sauceboat and would be a great addition to any Coalport/Wedgwood collection.

Coalport Countryware was the original manufacturer of this design, which was made in England and world famous. Coalport were bought out by Wedgwood in 1967, who continued using the Coalport name but gradually moved it to the Wedgwood brand, who then, slowly, phased out this design, so it is now quite rare and difficult to find.

The difference between the Wedgwood design of this plate and the original by Coalport is that the pattern is exactly the same but the Wedgwood is very marginally less fine. That said, it would be very difficult to tell the difference just by looking
