These well-loved and gently worn suede brown Oxford shoes were designed by Joan & David at some point after the company's founding in 1967. Joan once declared that she designed shoes for women who "run through airports." True to that statement, I have found these two inch heels to be extremely comfortable. These beauties are labeled US size 8 1/2 and work well with various socks, ribbed tights, or stockings, because of the buckles. If you should need a more snug fit, I recommend adding a simple gel insert in the toe box to extend your evening, especially if you retailer ran through the airport at lunchtime.
