Each pendant is then sanded and polished. After the pendant has been heated multiple times, a dot made of gold foil is then fused to the silver. This dot is placed where YOU choose. The sterling silver is darkened with liver of sulfur, but the gold stays gold. I like using this method because the gold stands out more clearly. A little strategic polishing is done and the pendant retailer is finished. You choose the chain size: 16, 18 or 20 inches. The chain can remain silver in color or it can also be darkened to match the pendant.
