Early mid-century (1940s) Johnson Brothers JB453 round vegetable serving bowl. Old English Ironstone made in England.

In VERY GOOD! condition, there are two WEE! nicks to the rim. Otherwise, there are NO! other chips, nicks, or fleabites, NO! cracks, LITTLE to NO! loss or wear to the gold, rope edge and NO! marks or stains other than light wear to the under-side, noticeable only when the bowl is over-turned. The florals and greenery are bright and vivid with NO! fading. Bowl shows age-appropriate crazing on all sides.

Approximate measurements: 8-1/4" in diameter with a depth of 3-1/2" and a gold, rope-embossed edge.
