retailer Triumph American Limoges Dinner Plates, Set of 4 plates - Farewell pattern IT-S280. This is not the most popular Triumph set by American Limoges, which has the woman in a blue dress on the left of the couple, this is a much rarer pattern, seldom seen. This romantic scene, framed in roses, is of a courtly gentleman, dressed in red with a green cape slung over his shoulder, saying Farewell to his lady love as she sits reaching out to him.

The edge of the plate is warranted to be 22 K Gold, a Beautiful wide Filigree Edging. Whether you have the set of these dishes and need replacements, or you love beautiful dishes, these are the ones to have. Made and discontinued in the 1950s, a true Mid Century Vintage Decorative Plate.

Good vintage condition, no cracks, chips or repairs. On the back three of the plate you can see crazing with some stains on the plate backs. One plate has considerable staining on the front surrounding the decal. I don't know if it will come out, the other three look very nice on the front.
