This nearly 48" bamboo didgeridoo musical instrument was hand made in USA from natural materials grown in a chemical and pesticide free environment, weighs about a pound, looks great and sounds the part, perfect for outdoor adventure travel, or local music-fest! I am by no means an accomplished didge player, in fact I'm barely a rookie, but I bet it holds it's own on the back porch or around the bonfire, plus it just looks cool! End end has a slightly different inside diameter, so a slightly different lip placement and pressure is needed, but I found both ends produced a robust satisfying drone. I suspect in the right hands with proper breathing this one of a kind bamboo didge could produce solid tones and a great sound. I don't know what key this might be, again, total rookie. I'd retailer say a wax mouthpiece could easily be installed, but I found it comfortable and easy to play without one.

Bamboo gains it's strength from it's nodes, so I cut my bamboo very close to nodes, which dramatically increases it's durability. I then use various artistic techniques to heat treat and hand burnish each piece, which drives out the moisture and starches which attract insect damage, and pulls a layer of protective oil to the surface, which when hand burnished leaves a protective smooth finish and adds all the visual richness and texture.
