I have created this wall hanging using a mixture of wool and acrylic fibres, enhanced with vintage jewellery pieces.
The driftwood, which is aged and treated, was a piece that I gathered on one of my walks along the beach, here on the Gold Coast (Australia).
I have hand knitted this wall hanging, using various stitches and techniques, and have hand-knotted the fringe that finishes the piece.
I have embellished it with pieces of broken, vintage jewellery (turquoise gemstone-chips and a pair of sparkly diamonte-like earrings).

Please Note - The wooden hanger on this piece is made of Local Driftwood, and as such may not be suitable for posting overseas (outside of Australia).
