As a portrait photographer, I always loved black and white portraiture and wanted to create an art piece in black and white. I love the look of the collaged hair and it lends itself to the "windswept" look. On Bebe Bleue Meduse retailer I simply ripped the strands of hair from pieces of paper. In Windswept I cut the pieces with scissors so I could have more control :-.
