This large ceiling canopy can be used to mount any pendant light or as a cover-up for large holes in the ceiling from previous inset or recessed lighting cans. It makes a perfect cover for holes up to 10" diameter - the canopy measures 10 1/4" diameter. Canopy comes with medium cord grip, heavy duty cord grip or Hook. The Medium Duty Grip is for electrical wire 18 gauge or thinner and roughly measure 2/3" diameter and 7/8" tall. The Heavy-Duty Cord Grip is for electrical wire 16 gauge or thicker and measures roughly 1 1/8" diameter X 1" tall and comes in a grey color that I can paint to coordinate. If you want hook they are available and I also paint those to coordinate.
