Antique retailer German Porcelain Bisque Figurine of a Little Boy Cajoling a Kiss from a Shy Little Girl

This charming figurine features a young girl demurely refusing the lad's romantic advances. The piece has two numbers, 8773 & 83, that are probably stock numbers. The fine detail and style of dress make me think that it was made in Germany sometime around 1900. The figurine is in near perfect condition, the only flaws are a missing piece of the girl's left thumb and a "crack" in the back of the girl's skirt that has been there from the manufacture. Both are visible in the photos when you know where to look. The figurine stands about 4 inches tall with its 2 3/8 by 1 5/8 inch base.
