Every year I head out to paint the extravaganza of wildflower blooms that we enjoy with our Texas spring. I never tire of watching each variety reach full peak bloom and every year is different. From bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, Gallardia, verbena and to a host of yellow compositae – I just react to the display in front of me. In this painting the pink evening primrose dominate the scene. These small watercolors are created on location using professional fine art watercolor pigments and 100% rag watercolor paper.
The art is presented with a wide off white neutral PH mat and is backed with acid-free foam core board. This will fit into a standard sized 11 x 14 inch frame.
