Vintage Women's Black Velour Clover Lane ‘Double-Brim' Platter Hat
This vintage York Merrimac ladies platter hat is a classic in heavy black felt/velour but rare in its design. Circa 40's or 50's. The craftsmanship is wonderful. The hat is just lovely on. Causal yet Elegant. Its timeless styling retailer includes a structured velour shell, a wide band of micro-pleated Satin fabric, and braided cord details with double-strand eyelets on the brim and a bow in the back. The hat as a Clover Lane tag also. Size 22 ½”. Its construction and detailing make it appropriate for most any occasion. The hat is in excellent condition (see photos).
