Mountain retailer scenery -- Quilt on canvas

Perk up your decorating scheme with this dreamy mountainview landscape that combines quilting with painting on canvas. Lovely colors -- purple, blue, and green.

The unique quilted scene measures 16 inches wide by 20 inches tall. It's a piece of fiber art (11 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall) designed and executed by me. I hand-dyed some of the silk and cotton fabrics, then arranged them into a scene reminiscent of the Blue Ridge mountains at sunset. I painted the canvas to extend the scene, then hand-stitched the quilt to the retailer canvas. Outside border of the canvas is painted the same colors as front, so you can hang it as is.
