Drugstore Candy Dish Large Square Clear Glass Basket Weave retailer With Columbian Swirl Lid Vintage 40s 50s

Large basket weave glass container with a columbian swirl lid made in the 40s to 50s.

The container itself is square shaped and not very tall without the lid.

It has a raised basket weave design and textured glass top.

It may have come from a drug store as a candy dish but not sure.

Nice apothecary retailer container to add interest to a corner of the room.

Measurements: Container 3.5" tall without lid and 8" tall with lid, 8.75" square base

Condition: no chips or cracks, lid has some straw marks, air bubbles with one long narrow bubble that popped on lid, and both lid and container have some black anomolies embedded in the glass, heavy weighs over 3 1/2 lbs.
