Airtight filament drying box for 4 filaments with filament holder, hygrometer, silicate retailer and FTFE hose with connector

This filament drying box convinces with its slim and functional shape and offers enough space for 4 filaments (diameter 200 mm, width up to 68 mm). The filaments are mounted on ball-bearing stainless steel round rods, which are attached to a precisely fitting filament holder in the box. Through four openings attached to the front, the filaments are conveyed to the outside. Pneumatic connectors with temperature-resistant PTFE hoses are attached to these openings to protect the filaments from humidity up to the 3D printer and to further ensure the airtightness of the box.

At the front of the filament holders there is a container in which the silicate is filled. The silicate balls continuously remove any moisture from the box and the filament. With increasing absorption of moisture, the orange silicate turns green. This can be regenerated as often as desired by drying in the oven at 100 °C for 5 minutes.

For the control of the ideal conditions in the box such as temperature and humidity, a hygrometer is mounted on the front.
