Fabulous Art Nouveau retailer Tin Container, c1900

retailer This is such a wonderful antique tin from the Art Nouveau era, 1890-1910!

It is a lidded and two handled container. Each side has a wonderful image of a "Gainsborough" beauty in full 18th century dress. The detail and colors are stunning!

The container is in wonderful vintage condition. It does show wear that would be commensurate with age and use. There are some scratches and chips throughout and some tiny dark spots. Inside shows lots of discoloration and darkening. But it is otherwise nice, no breaks or damage.

Measurements are 9" H x 5 1/2 W at the base.
