A Royal Doulton, Oval Dessert Dish

Manufacturer - Doulton & Co., Nile Street, Burslem, Staffordshire

Date - 1920's

Description - A beautiful Doulton oval dessert dish - scalloped rim with lavish amounts of gilt detailing on a cobalt blue ground above a band of pale cream, again with very detailed gilt decoration. 'Splatter' gilt band to the reverse rim - a lovely piece!

Condition - The decoration is very crisp and bright and there are no discernible signs of crack or losses

Backstamp - There is a green, printed 'Royal Doulton England' mark together with a pattern registration numbertern number. Also, there is a blue painted mark but we've not determined the significance!
