The base consists of a deposited and chamber-dried piece of solid beech. 
The wood is natural and untreated.The cracks typically occur during the drying process and make your lamp a unique piece. 
The retailer block has an edge length of 150 mm, the surfaces are planed in carpentry quality and finely ground. 
The edges are discreetly deburred.
