This stunning and retailer fun bag is made to wear as a neck bag or tied to your belt or your saddle to hold your found treasures, treats, spending money, even your car keys or cell-phone. Large enough to be functional, yet small enough to be stylish and versatile. Evoking the traditions of the old west with a distinctive modern flair, it combines the elements of earth (turquoise stone), animal (rattlesnake), fire (silver), water (abalone shell), and air (the sway of the fringe and gentle tapping of the beads and tin cones).
The braintan buckskin is hand-sewn together with translucent glass pony beads, then the diamond pattern is developed with black, white, orange, and 3 shades of turquoise Czech glass seed beads. The beads are applied with a technique that imbeds the threads within the leather without going all the way through. This prevents any abrasion from whatever treasures you want to carry in your bag, so allows for longer use without typical wear and tear.
The bag measures just over 3" x 4" with a 22" neck strap. The neck strap and 7" fringe are embellished with opaque glass pony beads, nickel beads, and tin cones. The button is a 1" polished abalone shell centered with a polished nickel bead.
