"Ani" 26" Mother of Pearl Pendant with Painted Metallic Wooden Beads Necklace
A 2" carved mother of pearl flower in shades of white and golden brown takes center stage in this stunning one of a kind necklace. The flower hangs on a silver tone bale (stamped 18KGP) from a chain of 10mm painted wooden disks. I arranged the disks by thickness with the larger gold beads at the center front. The gold beads taper to thin disks and then switch to silver painted disks graduating from thin to thick as they go around to the back. Arranging the disks by thickness takes time, but I think it's time well spent and the result gives the necklace an architectural flare. The necklace is finished with a very pretty hammered silver toned 'S' hook clasp.

These wood also look pretty as neutral home decor in a retailer wooden bowl on a low table.
