1930s Vintage reading eyeglasses with chromed silver frames and rounded lenses made in France. Classy and unique styling for that Great Gatsby or Harry Potter look.

These great glasses have a simple minimalist frame with unique long bridge design. The arms have a dual screw system at the hinge point. Uniquely the end of the arms has a slight flick up added detail. The plastic ear pieces have a subtle mother of pearl luminescence to them.

The glasses are vintage and in good condition overall. There is some patina of age, particularly around the lenses. A little chrome has worn off in places (see pictures). The vintage lenses in these glasses are a light prescription for reading or doing close up work. We would say about a 1 - 1.5 in strength. It may be possible to replace* them with your own prescription or clear glass for costume purposes.

Of note, eyeglasses prior to the 1970s were generally smaller than what we are used to today. Please check the measurements carefully.

Nose Bridge width: 2 cm / 3/4 inch
Arm Length (hinge to retailer curve of arm): 9.5 cm / 3 3/4 inches
Lens Diameter - 3.9 cm x 3.5 cm / 1 9/16 inches x 1 3/8 inches
