Vintage 1950s McGregor Wool Blend retailer Vest

McGregor Doniger was formed in 1921 by David D. Doniger. The McGregor label was first used in 1923. The company was a maker of retailer mens' and boys' sportswear. By the 1950s they were one of the leading men's sportswear companies in the country. They were able to profit from the trend toward more casual clothing during this time.

Condition: This vest is a classical knitted piece of the collection. The buttons were added after market but otherwise this piece is in great condition for the age. This is a size Medium, please see measurements below:
