The tree peony Koukamon, also known as 'Floral Gate', produces a flower that is almost black towards the center. The flowers are huge, ruffled, satin-like and super hardy!

Shipped as: 3 year plant, freshly dug, shipped bare root, shipped dormant October-March.

Planting instructions will be included with your order. Please prepare a spot with well-draining soil and at least 6 hours of full sun. The best blooms are usually found on plants growing in full sunlight. Avoid planting in heavy and poor soil, or a wet spot that holds water longer after a rain storm. I also do not recommend growing tree peonies in retailer pots unless you are familiar with container gardening.
