Vintage brass jam retailer / preserving pan / planter

A fabulous vintage brass jam / preserving pan with moveable cast iron handle which would look great for home decor - either inside the house for retailer storage or houseplants, or outside on the patio or garden as a floor or hanging planter.

This is a heavy item weighing over 4.5 kilograms and it measures 30.5cm in diameter and 14cm high (with handle down).

There are some marks, mild patina and discolouration commensurate with age.
