Beautiful and delicate small black hand retailer holding a flower bouquet basket brooch, made from what looks to be like ebonized wood or jet(?) and brass pin backing (pin non original). A stunning piece of traditional Victorian mourning jewellery, a fantastic and rare novelty piece of collectable antique jewellery. Circa late 1800s. Measures approx 4.5 x 2.2cm.

CONDITION: (Zoom in photos)
Used antique - very good overall. Pin backing tested and works fine. Sold as found.
Minor surface wear, tiny edge nibbles and patina as expected with use and age.
The pin is non-original and makeshift, still functional as is.
Pin backing is sharp, care must be taken when in use and kept away from children.
