Oak pattern box retailer

A moderately sized box excellent for tea, cookies or keepsakes. Made in Oak ply it is light and retailer strong. A fitted lid like a mansard roof adds a unique character to this singular item

Made with a rich fingered design this is in my ways, not your common box Less expensive boxes have no finger joints or a couple just at the sides. some inlay boxes have edge designs of pretend finger joints. Finger joints are hard to get right but are much stronger the more that there are. In this case, they half the thickness of the wood, and as the Laser cuts darken the wood, this is left in place as a design element. The laser cuts it out but all the rest is done by hand with loving care and not a mass production mindset and thus very inexpensive for what it is.
