DATE: 1864... From Johnson's Family Atlas printed in 1864 - NOT a later version. This original antique map was engraved and hand-colored 158 years ago.
DESCRIPTION: Steel engraving, hand-colored, on heavier paper, gorgeous decorative grillwork border.
SHEET SIZE: about 18" X 27" with centerfold as issued .
CONDITION: Very good condition- one tiny 1/4" left edge tear with fold; some light marks/light foxing on the outside margins with a few on the image area; some very faint offset on map area.
